Quake Global is seeking a results-driven Vice President of Sales with a true hunter mentality to drive the expansion of our Senior Living solutions in the US market.
This high-impact role will initiate and close new sales opportunities to accelerate growth. In this individual contributor role, you will organize, plan, direct, and coordinate all sales activities, generate and follow-up on sales leads, conduct presentations and demonstrations of our solutions, generate proposals, and manage contracts through deal closing in a demanding market.
- Manages, directs, and executes sales efforts for the Senior Living business to drive revenue growth.
- Has knowledge of the business, Senior Living wander management or personal emergency response systems (PERS) ecosystem(s), the competition, and facility buying processes.
- Develops (in collaboration with the executive team) and executes robust sales strategies to create a substantial business pipeline, capitalize on growth opportunities, and enhance brand and product awareness.
- Using public and personal networks, identifies and develops attack plans for, and pursues new sales opportunities.
- Actively prospects and leverages their contact database to follow-up with targeted customers through multiple sales, communications, and marketing methods (e.g. cold calling, conference attendance, social media, public relations, drip campaigns, presentations, etc.)
- Initiates and develops relationships with prospects to identify and propose solutions that meet their business needs.
- Oversees and implements the full sales cycle, including market research, needs analysis, pitch, closing, renewal, and upsell.
- Captures prospects and market needs and trends and consults with executive leadership and internal teams for solution development.
- Locates RFPs and works with the Project Management team to write proposals and SOWs. Collaborates closely with Product Management and Customer Support teams.
- Represents Quake Global at industry events, generating (as appropriate) leads from trade shows and networking events.
- Maintains and provides timely and accurate pipeline tracking within the CRM platform.
- Analyzes data and implements corrective actions for exception conditions (e.g., budget or forecast miss) and reports on progress to the Quake leadership team.
- Helps identify sales and marketing tools that advance sales, supports industry events, and provides content for newsletters and announcements.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of direct Senior Living sales experience.
- Proven and demonstrable ability to close sales opportunities and meet or exceed sales targets and strategic objectives.
- Superior knowledge of the full sales cycle (prospecting through closing and retention/upsell).
- Effectively manages multiple opportunities at various stages of the sales cycle.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting wander management and personal emergency response system products.
- Ability to present a professional image to management, staff, patients, clients, and other outside contacts.
- Exceptional internal and external customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member.
- Flexible nature to accommodate (and embrace) new program growth and change.
- Fully competent in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.

This position is based in San Diego, CA, but remote (Continental USA) candidates with the appropriate experience will be considered.
Estimated base salary range: $ - $ plus commission.
Compensation decisions may vary depending on multiple factors, including location, role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education, and experience within the industry.
