As a Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue generation by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities. This role will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s customer base and establishing strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will have strong customer relationship management skills, demonstrate excellent product knowledge, and be comfortable negotiating and closing deals.

The average compensation for this position is between $75,000-$120,000 annually, depending on performance.

What you’ll do
  • Prospecting and lead generation – identify and research potential clients, cold‑call, email, and network to generate leads and build a pipeline.
  • Consultative selling – understand client needs and pain points to tailor solutions, present and demonstrate products/services effectively.
  • Negotiation and closing – skillfully negotiate terms, pricing, and contract details to reach mutually beneficial agreements and close sales deals, achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Customer relationship management – build and maintain long‑term relationships, provide exceptional service, addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Market and competitive analysis – stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, use insights to adapt strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Product knowledge – understand details of products/services, continuously learn and stay up‑to‑date with new offerings.
  • Documentation – maintain accurate and detailed records with appropriate pictures attached.
  • Safety – practice safe driver policies, keep workspace clean and organized, maintain confidentiality and proper incident reporting.
Where you’ll work

Culligan Sales Representatives spend much of their time out in the field, traveling within assigned territories and working in both residential and industrial settings. You will serve customers in various indoor and outdoor environments and weather conditions, with relatively flexible hours to accommodate meetings. The role involves lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items and may require standing, kneeling, and bending.
