THORPETO is looking for a motivated, hungry Sales Development Representative (SDR) to work directly alongside our Account Executive and help drive new business in the IT hardware space, with a focus on datacenter and AI infrastructure.
This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who is a true go-getter, eager to learn, comfortable on the phone, and excited to gain hands‑on experience in outbound B2B sales. You’ll be on the front lines generating opportunities and learning how deals are built from the ground up.
Tasks & Responsibilities:- Heavy outbound outreach, primarily daily cold calling
- Prospect and research potential customers
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads
- Set meetings and hand off qualified opportunities to the Account Executive
- Maintain accurate notes and activity tracking in the CRM
- Support pipeline growth through consistent follow‑up
- Learn the IT hardware sales process end‑to‑end
- High energy, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls
- Coachable and eager to gain sales experience
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills
- Organized with good follow‑through
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, outbound‑focused environment
- BONUS:
Familiarity with Hub Spot or other CRM tools
