*** what you get to do:
** as a sales ambassador, you’ll deliver exceptional guest service while providing guests with product information and upselling when appropriate. Your “bottom line” will be to ensure guests have a shopping experience that meets and exceeds their expectations. You will:
* greet and interact with guests
* answer questions and resolve guest issues
* assist guests with product information
* focus on up-selling and increasing sales
* operate cash register
* ensure merchandise is properly and accurately price marked
* take regular and special inventory counts
* minimize losses due to damage or theft
* perform stock duties and maintain merchandise counters and displays
* keep all assigned areas clean
** availability and hours:**
* ****** this is a seasonal role
******* the sesame place season runs from march 2026 through labor day 2026, with onboarding and all required training to be completed prior to the start of the season.
* during the non-peak season, must be available both saturday & sunday
* during the peak season, must have 5 days of unrestricted availability, to include the weekends
* you must be able to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays

**** what it takes to succeed:
*** at least 18 years of age
* ability to work independently with little to no supervision
* outgoing personality with strong communication skills
* ability to accurately handle cash and learn/use point of sale system
* flexibility, dependability and integrity
* prior retail sales experience preferred
