Reporting to the Retail Store Manager, the Sales Associate, or Shade Specialist, provides a world-class customer experience and has a direct impact on Blenders’ success. The Shade Specialist maintains a positive attitude, professional vibe, and willingness to go above and beyond for customers.

Customer Service:

• Communicates the values and brand of Blenders
• Stays up to date on new launches and styles while providing accurate product information
• Anticipates customer needs and offers exceptional style advice
• Uses best judgment in customer service matters to address complaints

Operations:

• Assists the ASM & SM with inventory management and cash reconciliation
• Processes all payment transactions through the POS system
• Keeps the store tidy by performing assigned cleaning activities
• Maintains safe working conditions and resolves safety concerns quickly
• Maintains stock levels on the floor
• Protects company assets by following loss prevention procedures

Leadership:

• Maintains a positive relationship with the Store Management team
• Is respectful, dependable, and collaborative

Other

Job Functions:

• Performs additional duties as needed and assigned by the Assistant and Store Manager

• 1-3 years of retail experience or related field
• Genuine interest in providing outstanding customer service
• Basic understanding of sales practices
• Friendly and enthusiastic
• Strong communicator
• Effectively speak with customers, peers and management
• Self-motivated
• Problem solving skills
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills

• Must be flexible with weekly schedule (minimum 3 days of availability) and be available to work weekends

This is a part-time position operating out of our Pacific Beach location and reporting to the Retail Store Manager. The retail store hours are Monday through Sunday.
