About Us
When Bad Birdie started, we gave golfers something they’d never seen before: a bold printed polo designed to disrupt tradition and invite more people into the game. Today, we’re proud to create premium golf apparel that’s colorful, confident, and playfully rebellious, built so every player can feel good and have a hell of a good time on the course. As we grow, we’re committed to keeping that original energy alive, continuing to challenge what’s possible in golf while respecting the game and welcoming everyone to play their way.
We started bold. We’re staying bad. And we’ll keep showing golfers what the game can be.
The Role
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate, you’ll deliver a high-touch, energetic customer experience while driving sales through active engagement and strong product knowledge. You’ll be a consistent presence on the floor—greeting, guiding, styling, and helping customers find the right fit—while also supporting the daily operating rhythm of the store (inventory, visual standards, shipment flow, and task execution). This is not a “stand behind the register” role—this is a sell + service + execute role.
Hours:20–30 hours/week
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Deliver an exceptional, high-touch customer experience through confident product knowledge and genuine engagement.
- Greet every customer and actively support them throughout their shopping experience (no passive selling).
- Drive key sales metrics including conversion, UPT, and AOV through active selling and styling.
- Support the Store Manager in achieving store goals through consistent execution, accountability, and teamwork.
- Participate in team huddles and sales-focused check-ins to align on priorities and performance.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards: keep the store clean, organized, and on-brand at all times.
- Assist with inventory responsibilities including shipment processing, replenishment, cycle counts, and accuracy checks.
- Identify and flag issues in inventory, store flow, customer experience, or process before they become problems.
- Share improvement ideas that enhance traffic, engagement, service, and conversion.
- Complete assigned operational tasks on time (and with detail)—because the little things add up.
- Must be 18+ years of age.
- 1–3 years of retail or customer-facing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and comfort starting conversations with customers.
- Demonstrated ability to sell actively (not “order take”) and contribute to team goals.
- Reliable, accountable, and able to follow through on tasks without being chased.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physically able to stand/walk for long periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
