Role: Principal eCommerce Financial Analyst

Location: San Diego, CA 92101 (Onsite at Symphony Towers)

Compensation Range: $120,000-$175,000/year

We’re seeking a Principal eCommerce Financial Analyst to provide strategic financial leadership and advanced modeling to guide long-term business decisions.

This role drives forecasting, profitability analysis, and margin optimization while partnering with executives to align financial planning with corporate strategy.

• Lead enterprise-wide financial forecasting, modeling, and profitability analysis
• Develop and maintain frameworks for Amazon pass-through billing and client reimbursements
• Partner with senior leadership to align financial plans with organizational objectives
• Oversee data accuracy across ERP, reporting, and BI systems (Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, Tableau, Power BI)
• Prepare executive dashboards
  , financial summaries, and board-level reporting
• Mentor analysts and drive continuous improvement in analytical processes and reporting quality

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CPA preferred
• 8+ years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience
  , including team leadership
• Expert in Excel, Google Sheets
  , and advanced financial modeling techniques
• Proficiency in ERP and BI platforms (Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, Tableau, Power BI)
• Strong understanding of cost structures, pricing strategy, and margin optimization
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to influence executive decision-making

Compensation: $120,000 - $175,000 a year

Notes: We’ve listed a broad salary range of $120,000-$175,000/year to account for varying levels of experience, skill sets, and leadership depth. Where you land in the range will depend on how your background aligns with this role. We’re committed to compensating based on value and impact, not just years on paper, and we’re happy to have open conversations throughout the process.
