The Food Runner is a vital member of Arlo’s front-of-house service team, ensuring that each dish is delivered with precision, professionalism, and care.

This role supports seamless communication between the kitchen and dining room while upholding the elevated service standards expected of a Michelin-aspiring restaurant. Hourly rate $17.75 per hour. #towncountrySD

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly, accurately, and with polished presentation
• Maintain a strong understanding of menu items, ingredients, and preparations to confidently describe dishes when needed
• Coordinate closely with chefs, servers, and supervisors to ensure proper timing and table pacing
• Verify plate presentation and quality before delivery to the dining room
• Support servers by assisting with table maintenance, clearing, resetting, and guest needs as appropriate
• Uphold cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in all service areas
• Actively contribute to a calm, professional, and guest-focused service environment

• Previous experience in an upscale or fine-dining environment preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency without sacrificing composure
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-expectation setting
• Professional demeanor and commitment to exceptional hospitality
• Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods and carry multiple plates safely. Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
