Overview

ARLO, the signature upscale restaurant at Town and Country Resort, is seeking engaging and polished Part-Time Servers to help create exceptional, memorable dining experiences for every guest. As a Server at ARLO, you will deliver attentive, knowledgeable service in a fast-paced, high-volume setting while showcasing the resort’s elevated standards of hospitality and professionalism. Morning and evening shifts are available.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm, professional greeting and create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest

  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer thoughtful food and beverage recommendations

  • Take accurate orders, enter them into the POS system, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages

  • Serve all items according to ARLO and Town and Country Resort standards, checking presentation, portion, and temperature

  • Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and address concerns or complaints with professionalism, involving a manager when needed

  • Maintain a clean and organized section, including tables, service stations, and surrounding areas.

  • Accurately handle payments, including cash and credit card transactions

  • Collaborate closely with teammates and kitchen staff to support a smooth and efficient service flow

  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times

  • Uphold the resort’s brand values and contribute to a positive, guest-focused culture

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2-3 years of serving experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment; upscale or high-volume experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including menu details and drink pairings

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor

  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm under pressure

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical requirements and work environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions such as bending and reaching

  • Work in a dynamic hotel restaurant environment with moderate noise, varying temperatures, and continuous guest interaction
