Flow Cytometry Operator Asst

Will assist with supporting the operation of various analytical and sorting cytometers and assist research staff with analyzing experimental samples. Will work with research staff to schedule and sort samples; maintain instruments to ensure proper operation; sterilize equipment; perform general lab maintenance; maintain monthly data; assist research staff on additional projects as required; and other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required or assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in a Biological Science or related scientific discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been attained.
• Up to 1 year related experience is preferred (while no experience is required).
• Experience with basic bench work in a Biology laboratory.
• Proficiency with computers (including Mac & PC).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Flow-cytometry experience.

$20.07-$25.06 per hour budgeted hiring range.
