About the CompanyBiolinq is a venture-backed digital health company developing a wearable biosensor platform that measures biomarkers important to the management of many clinical conditions, including diabetes. This dynamic role is a part of a team of engineers and scientists developing a novel intradermal biosensor technology and the associated software data extraction and rendering SDK that will transform the way people manage their metabolic health.
JobPurpose
This is a dynamic role as part of a team of engineers and scientists developing a novel intradermal biosensor technology. It is a hands‑on, laboratory role which straddles R&D and pilot‑scale production, making extensive use of proper laboratory practices, including preparing solutions, designing and running experiments, and recording and analyzing data. You will have the opportunity to assist the scientific team perform experiments and collect data to validate biosensor performance.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Assembling, cataloging, imaging, and preparing biosensors for evaluation by the scientific team
- Designing, executing automated electrochemical experiments and performing calibrations
- Expected to learn to operate in a regulated environment (GLP, GMP, Design Controls per 21 CFR 820.30)
- Preparing chemicals, reagents, buffers, and solutions to support laboratory activities
- Maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring laboratory instrumentation is performing within specifications
- Knowledge of all lab techniques, processes, and equipment expected to be learned quickly upon training
- Implementing statistical and analytical methods aimed at understanding process variability
- Working closely with the R&D team to implement a course of experiments
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- B.A., B.S., or M.S. degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Polymer Science or related field
- 1‑3 years hands‑on laboratory experience required
- Able to follow stringent quality‑control measures designed to improve test‑to‑test consistency
- Able to follow stringent work instructions, standard operating procedures, test protocols, etc.
- Highly methodical, organized, and detail‑oriented; able to communicate results clearly to the team
- Close adherence to sensor synthesis and evaluation protocols provided by the R&D team
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office® productivity suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
General office and laboratory environment.
Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, see, talk or hear in a standard office environment. Employee may occasionally lift or move up to 15 pounds.

As part of our efforts to ensure fair and equal pay based on merit, Biolinq supports pay transparency internally and during the recruitment process. The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this role is: $68,000 to $72,000 per year. Actual compensation packages are commensurate with experience and based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, education, certifications, and specific work location.
The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans. Biolinq also offers a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick time, parental leave), medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans and any written agreement between the parties.
