Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on‑site role located in San Diego, CA for an Acquisitions Manager. To apply, you will need to be in the area or willing to commute 3‑5 days a week. The Acquisitions Manager will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new land acquisition opportunities, negotiating purchase agreements, and conducting due diligence on potential investments. The role is primarily focused on talking to potential sellers, managing a sales pipeline, and contributing market feedback to the team to prepare for future market strategy.
Qualifications- Strong analytical skills, including market research and financial analysis
- Interpersonal and communication skills for relationship building and negotiation
- Base Knowledge of real estate contracts, documentation, and regulatory compliance
- Project management and organizational skills
- Proficient in using productivity tools and real estate software is a plus
- Prior experience in land acquisitions or real estate development is a huge, huge bonus
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve targets
- This role is intended to be a heavy commission position. There is a base salary, identified in the description, and a very appealing commission package. First year OTE should exceed $150,000 with multiple milestone accelerators (more salary and commission).
