QC Technician

Entry Level: QC Technician

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm

Payrate: 18.00 - 19.50/hr

San Diego, CA 92121

Duration: 6+ month contract

The Quality Control Technician performs testing on products during various stages of production and documents results for quality records. This role supports daily QC laboratory activities including testing, stability studies, and raw material analysis while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

• Perform and document QC testing on production lots and finished kits
• Support QC laboratory functions such as stability studies, raw material testing, and proficiency testing
• Maintain accurate testing records and documentation
• Operate laboratory equipment safely following established procedures
• Support product development and improvement projects
• Maintain laboratory organization and cleanliness
• Communicate testing results with Manufacturing, QC, and other departments
• Assist with training new Quality Control Technicians

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years of experience in a quality control or manufacturing laboratory
• Experience in medical device or high-volume manufacturing preferred
• Knowledge of basic laboratory practices, GLP/GMP, and quality systems (ISO/QSR)
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and documentation requirements
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry
