QC Support Analyst - Environmental Monitoring

Overview

Grifols Diagnostic Solutions in San Diego, CA is seeking a Quality Control Support Analyst 3. The primary job function is to test and release raw materials, sub‑assemblies or finished goods and support the Quality Control Microbiology team.

• Perform routine testing including release testing, performance testing, analytical testing, bioburden testing, and environmental monitoring using GMP/GLP practices.
• Analyze data and interpret results, comparing to specifications, validity criteria, and alert limits.
• Maintain product and QC material inventories and laboratory cleanliness; stock shelves/drawers with testing materials.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, submit items for calibration as needed.
• Complete training in a timely manner and maintain records.
• Revise QC documents (SOPs, QS).
• Participate in lab investigations and out‑of‑specification investigations.
• Train QC analysts on test methods.

Working knowledge of GMP/GLP.

B.A. or B.S. in Biological Science or Chemistry.

0‑2 years.

Directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience may be considered.

May occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise manipulate objects up to 25 pounds, and/or lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise manipulate objects up to 10 pounds frequently or continuously.

$29.14 to $36.42 per hour, plus up to 5% of the company bonus pool. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 5% 401(k) match and tuition reimbursement.
