** Our ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves animals and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running lab work, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member.

** Who You Are:**
* ** Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of California, license must be active and in good standing.**
* ** 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
*** Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
* Passion for working with animals and their owners
* Experience with proper animal handling and restraint, Fear Free preferred
* Understand the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
* Obtain accurate and thorough medical histories
* Perform basic exam procedures
* Skilled in venipuncture and Intravenous (IV) catheter placement (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular)
* Able to perform digital radiology (X-ray) including positioning
* Perform complete dental procedures, including digital x-rays, scaling, polishing, charting, and extractions
* Comfortable with general anesthesia and surgical assisting (induction, intubation, monitoring, aseptic technique)
* Laboratory skills including microscope (ear and fecal cytology); in-house laboratory equipment
* Ability to utilize ultrasound to obtain diagnostic images and urine samples preferred
* Excellent client communication/education
* Ability to perform Technician appointments independently, including accurate medical record documentation or:
