ScheduleFull time – We are open Sunday‑Friday 7am‑6pm. Rotating Sunday's required. Schedule rotates.
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with advanced training in veterinary dentistry and anesthesia. This role is ideal for a technician who is confident performing advanced dental procedures‑including extractions and gingival flaps‑while safely managing anesthesia and providing exceptional patient care.
Role Responsibilities- Set an example of courtesy and professionalism in working with clients and coworkers.
- Assist and follow the directions of lead technicians, management and doctors.
- Perform simple treatments as directed.
- Reliably perform treatments. Ensure that treatments are kept up to date.
- Handle all animals with both caution and compassion.
- Prepare patients for surgery.
- Keep all areas, including reception, exam rooms, treatment sinks, floors, cages, etc. clean at all times.
- Assist with some reception work when needed.
Complete training and continuing education assignments on schedule. - Required shifts may be scheduled on nights, weekends, and holidays. You may be required to work beyond regularly scheduled shifts at times due to an unexpectedly heavy emergency caseload.
- Previous veterinary technician experience 3‑5 years.
- Experience working in a fast paced environment is preferred.
- Ability to multi‑task and work well with others.
- Safely restrain patients.
- Monitor anesthesia and anesthetic recovery.
- Perform basic lab work.
- Assist in taking and developing X‑rays under the supervision of a senior technician.
- Give intravenous injections and IV fluids.
- Place peripheral IV catheters.
- Be capable of working on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Monitor patients in surgery using proper anesthetic techniques.

$26‑$31/hour depending on experience and skillset.
