Bike & Kayak Tours, Inc. is hiring operations staff/beach crew!
Location: La Jolla, CA.
Employment Type: Seasonal.
Salary: Competitive.

• Pushing out kayak tour & rental participants on the beach.
• Reviewing the water map with kayak rental customers.
• Assisting customers coming in through the surf and handling kayak returns.
• Preparing the beach for open and close, setting up and unloading kayaks, paddles and other equipment.
• Following directions of beach managers and lifeguard ambassadors to strictly adhere to boat launch regulations.
• Loading and unloading kayaks into trucks.
• Providing basic customer service and FAQs to guests while on the beach.
• Driving company trucks to deliver equipment.
• Performing basic equipment repairs.
• Assisting customers with special needs.
• Maintaining cleanliness: cleaning wetsuits, snorkel gear, helmets, mopping floors, janitorial and shop duties.

• Valid California Driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles safely and legally.
• Physical fitness required; ability to work a fast‑paced, very physical job on the beach.
• Ability to work both full‑ and part‑time hours.
• Strong customer service orientation.
