Position:
Nurse Lead & Educator

Salary: $85,000 - $91,000 Annually

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with flexibility to schedule training for all shifts

Who You Are
  • Current LVN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Two years of staff development in long term care
  • RCFE certification preferred
  • Knowledge of CDPH, RCFE, OSHA, and Title 22
  • Strong assessment, organizational, and communications skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Job Summary

Responsible for the development and implementation of the orientation program and on‑going educational programs for staff in Residential Health to meet Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements and Casa policy.

Essential

Job Duties
  • Plans, conducts, and evaluates organized orientation and training/education programs
  • Conducts new hire orientation, in‑services, and skills assessments
  • Resident assessments, care plans, and chart audits
  • Responsible for nursing schedules including staffing for call‑offs

All Employees must be able to pass background checks (fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, employment references) as required by a licensed residential care facility. Some of the roles in our community require that we ask about your COVID‑19 vaccination status.
