Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Scrub) – California

Start Date: February 23, 2026
Location: San Diego, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 6:30 AM start time; scheduled two shifts every other weekend; on-call coverage includes 16 hours per weekend and 24 hours per weekday in a 4-week period with 30-minute response time

Highlights:

• Perioperative scrub nursing role requiring expertise in orthopedics, neurosurgery, and robotics
• Direct patient care utilizing the full nursing process from assessment through evaluation
• Interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver individualized, holistic care aligned with patient and family goals
• On-call responsibilities integrated into schedule with weekend call in addition to regularly scheduled weekend shifts
• Opportunity to serve as patient advocate while coordinating care with the broader healthcare team

Requirements:

• Active California RN license
• CPR certification
• Minimum three years of recent RN experience in a clinical role
• At least two years of recent specialty experience in Operating Room nursing
• Demonstrated scrub experience with proficiency in ortho, neuro, and robotics procedures
• Completion of OR questionnaire required with submission
