Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $138,330 - $193,892 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%). Hourly Equivalent: $66.25 - $92.86.

ResponsibilitiesProvide direct care to critical care patients using the nursing process in the clinic setting. Develops and provides treatment plans as requested. Promote self-care through education. Organize and maintain clinic equipment and supplies. Support the 13-bed mixed Medical ICU/Coronary Contained Unit (Pre-Cardiac Transplants, CHF, Acute MI, CRRT, neurological patients, complex ventilation) with current equipment and techniques. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams;
participate in treatment planning and education. Maintain high standards of nursing practice in alignment with ANA Standards of Practice and Professional Performance.
Autonomous nursing care requires assessment and actions based on competence and knowledge, exercising independent judgment within interdisciplinary patient care contexts.
Note:

- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Must have an active California RN license.
- BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications at time of hire with commitment to obtain ART within six (6) months of hire date.
- Minimum two (2) years of recent acute care RN experience in adult ICU.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage multiple levels of information and responsibilities and to quickly assess moderately complex problems to develop potential solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, physicians, and patients verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with team members; willingness to adapt and embrace new approaches to support team objectives.
- BSN.
- Experience in a teaching facility.
- CCRN, CSC, and/or CMC certifications.
- Experience with cardiopulmonary, neuro, and/or cardiac care.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
- Selected candidate may be hired at the CNIII level pending review and approval by the Nurse Executive Council.
