RN - Cardiovascular ICU - Night shift - La Jolla

This is a Part Time, 12-Hour Night Shift, 48 hours per two week pay period CVICU RN position located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla – Prebys Cardiovascular Institute.

This position is eligible for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $2K.

• Cardiac surgery
• Heart failure, shock, advanced resuscitation measures
• Mechanical circulatory support
• ECMO, LVAD, Impella, Tandem Heart, IABP, CRRT

The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care within the scope of practice, focusing on cardiac diagnosis. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. They will work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
• One (1) year of recent RN experience in an adult ICU
• California Registered Nurse License
• Current American Heart Association BLS
• Current American Heart Association ACLS
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Experience with Hemodynamic Monitoring in heart failure and cardiac surgery population

Position Pay Range: $59.16-$85.68/hour
