Full‑time, benefited position generally working Monday‑Friday from 8 am‑5 pm at Scripps Clinic Mission Valley & Liberty Station with travel to other sites as needed. Rotating on‑call evenings & weekends with other leadership. Exempt and salaried position eligible for the Management Incentive Compensation Plan (MICP) at the Manager level.

- Collaborative and growth‑oriented environment. As the RN Manager of Clinic Operations, you’ll lead a growing team with standardized practice processes, working closely with physicians to deliver exceptional care.

- Responsible for multiple specialties, including Primary Care, Medical & Surgical Specialties across Mission Valley sites (two suites) and Liberty Station.
- Manage daily operations of patient‑care units or departments efficiently and cost‑effectively, creating and managing staffing plans and ensuring appropriate equipment and resources.
- Create and maintain an environment that assures nursing practice reflects established standards of care and promotes patient safety.
- Ensure safe transition of patients through the continuum of care, coordinating patient care and direct hand‑off to next appropriate level of care.
- Contribute to strategic planning of business units and coordinate ongoing development and productivity of physician office practices.
- Provide leadership and direction to staff to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations, quality outcomes, and internal/external customer service.
- Oversee entire scope of department/location, including facilities management when appropriate.
- Associate’s degree plus five years of applicable clinical experience, two of which in a leadership role.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, team development, planning and follow‑through skills.
- Ability to exercise authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited program.
- Applicable experience in a healthcare environment and three years of leadership experience.
- Ability to effectively manage healthcare business and operational practices.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other applicable systems.
- Maintains current California RN license.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or MSN preferred.
- 2 years of managerial experience in an ambulatory physician practice management setting.
Position Pay Range: $72.71 – $105.41 /hour
