RN Clinic - Part Time - Cardiology - Mission Valley

Overview

This is a benefited, part time position generally working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:45am-4:45pm. Hours will vary as needed. Located at Scripps Clinic in Mission Valley with possible travel to La Jolla.

• About 70% of this position is patient triage and the other 30% is face-to-face direct patient care, administering IVs and Definity.
• Responsible for ordering inventory and supplies for department to ensure fully stocked.
• Be a part of the Rapid Response Team.
• Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
• Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized

Skills:

• ADN or Nursing Diploma
• Required Certification/Registration:
• CA RN license
• BLS from American Heart Association

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• BSN
• Cardiology experience as an RN
• Recent IV experience
