Synergy Surgery Center is hiring an RN PACU FT
. Our fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center is committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.
- Under the direct supervision of the Pre-Op/PACU manager, the PACU nurse is responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
- At times, assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation and utilizing sterile technique as deemed appropriate.
- Responsible for providing total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation.
- Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.
Pay Range: $50.00 - $59.00/hour
Wages are determined based upon a number of factors, including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and years of experience.

RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- Current CA Nursing License
- Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum 2 years experience in a hospital or ASC setting
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors, and the public
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures, and management of the surgical patient
- Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
- Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics
