Lead Clinician

We are looking for a licensed Nurse Practitioner
, Physician Assistant
, or a Certified Nurse Midwife to Lead our First Avenue Family Planning Team. This role is a Lead Clinician role, with management responsibilities.

Bring your passion for reproductive healthcare to life by leading other providers and providing high-quality exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counseling. You’ll also be a go-to medical resource, supporting and empowering both licensed and non-licensed team members.

This role is considered Full-Time/Fully-Benefited and is designed for Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, or a Certified Nurse Midwife licensed in the state of California.

• Manage other health center clinicians to ensure the provision of high quality, cost effective medical care and excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with other Healthcare providers, Physicians, and Management on patient care and clinical improvements.
• Partner with a Case Management team, which will communicate with patients on lab results, referrals, and other aspects of patient care.
• Gain new skills such as IUC retrievals, Nexplanon insertions, Cryotherapy, Bartholin Cyst I&D, and prescribe GAHT (Gender Affining Hormone therapy).
• Receive a rigorous training and on-boarding program similar to a fellowship.

• Hold an active California license as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or a Certified Nurse Midwife.
• Have at least 1 year of healthcare experience as NP, CNM, or PA.
• Have previous leadership experience.

• Demonstrate compassion in providing patient care and supporting staff.
• Are willing to jump in to help with coverage if needed.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish (highly preferred).

$152,880 - $199,800 a year
