Role SummaryUnder general supervision, the Registered Nurse assesses patients and delivers care during cardiac and peripheral vascular catheterization procedures. Responsibilities include identifying and implementing nursing interventions, evaluating results, and monitoring diagnostic and interventional procedures for coronary, carotid, renal, and lower extremity cases. As the primary RN circulator, the nurse is responsible for patient care and accurate electronic documentation, providing guidance to the healthcare team, ensuring compliance with policies, and supporting an excellent AMI program.
Minimum Qualifications- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- RN License issued by the State of California.
- BLS/CPR and ACLS certification at time of hire with commitment to obtain ART within six (6) months.
- Minimum one year of recent acute care RN experience in Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, to influence all staff levels.
- BSN/MSN.
- RCIS, CEN, or CCRN certification.
- Three or more years of recent cardiac cath lab RN experience.
- On‑call 5:30 p.m. – 7 a.m. Monday‑Friday, 24‑hour call both Saturday and Sunday.
- Must be able to wear a lead apron.
- Selected candidate may be hired at the CNIII level pending approval by the Nurse Executive Council.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre‑employment physical.
Hourly Equivalent: $91.16 – $91.16
