This is a benefited, full time position working 8-hour day shifts Monday-Friday, typically from 7am-3:30pm. Hours may vary based on clinic needs. Located in La Jolla at Scripps Clinic - Torrey Pines.

- Join our Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines – Orthopedic Surgery team where the RN - Clinic works closely with the Orthopedic Surgery Physicians, Physician Assistants, and supporting staff.
- The RN will typically work with telephone messages, triage, and patient education.
- The majority of this position is at a desk, on the computer and phone rather than physical face-to-face interactions with patients.
- The majority of this position is administrative (i.e. working phones, Epic, in-basket messaging).
- Assist with Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
- Draw up injections for providers.
- Ensuring Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
- Performing patient assessments and care tasks and medication administration as appropriate.
- Educating patients and documenting patient interactions.
- Practicing infection control.
- Contributing to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.
- Working collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Current California RN license
- Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS Certificate
Preferred Qualifications- At least 1 year of Outpatient Clinic experience
- Orthopedic experience
- Epic, in-basket & triage experience

Position Pay Range: $51.66-$74.92/hour
