NMCRS San Diego is looking for an Outreach Coordinator to represent the Society at events for active duty military, retirees, and their families. The Outreach Coordinator serves as a knowledgeable resource of NMCRS programming and is often the first point of contact for many prospective clients and volunteers.

• Provide briefings to build awareness of NMCRS programs and services and recruit volunteers
• Coordinate publicity of NMCRS programs and services at events and fairs
• Staff and set up tables
• Present a professional, friendly and objective appearance
• Serve as an NMCRS Ambassador

• Minimum 2-4 hours per event, not including travel time to/from the venue
• Events may take place on Naval Base San Diego or at off-base locations, with no more than two events per week
• Must be available to attend occasional weekday evening and weekend events

• Commit to the team for a minimum of 6 months
• Complete NMCRS Orientation and Training
• Comfortable speaking in front of large groups
• Knowledge of NMCRS programs and services
• Familiarity with military life a plus but not required
