About the Campaign
Mayra for Congress is building a people-powered campaign to win South Carolina’s 1st Congressional District. Our fundraising is grassroots, fast-moving, and relationship-driven—and call time is at the center of it.
We’re hiring a part-time Call Time Manager to help keep Mayra’s call time organized, productive, and consistently growing—so every call connects to the next donor, the next pledge, and the next win.
Key ResponsibilitiesCall Time Operations & Scheduling
- Coordinate and manage Mayra’s weekly call time schedule (20 hours/week support role)
- Prepare daily and weekly call sheets with clear priorities and targets
- Ensure Mayra is fully set up for each call block (lists, notes, follow-ups, goals)
- Maintain and improve call lists: segmenting by priority, likelihood to give, relationship, and geography
- Track generated leads and ensure every new name becomes a follow-up opportunity
- Coordinate list sourcing from call time tools, events, referrals, donor research, and supporter submissions
- Continuously refine lists for efficiency and fundraising performance
- Track pledges, commitments, and “call back” requests—no leads left behind
- Document results from every call: outcomes, next steps, notes, and relationship context
- Manage thank-you and follow-up workflows (texts/emails/notes) in coordination with the Finance team
- Flag high-priority donors, warm leads, and urgent follow-ups for same-day action
- Maintain accurate call time metrics: dials, connects, asks, pledges, total raised, and follow-ups completed
- Provide short weekly reports: what’s working, where leads are stalling, and how to increase yield
- Help improve the system so call time becomes more efficient over time
- Coordinate with the senior staff on the Campaign Team on fundraising goals and targets
- Help organize volunteer or staff support as needed (e.g., research, follow-up drafting, list updates)
- Experience managing political call time for a candidate or campaign
- Strong follow-up instincts and organization—comfortable managing multiple “next steps” at once
- Confident using spreadsheets and tracking systems (Google Sheets required)
- Strong communication and reliability (you will be driving daily execution)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism with donor information
- Spanish-language skills (conversational or fluent)
- Experience with call time tools, generated donor lists, and pipeline management
- Familiarity with fundraising best practices (pledge follow-up, donor tiers, call scripts)
- Experience working on campaigns in a fast-moving environment
- Donor pipeline grows week over week—with clear tracking and fewer “lost” leads
