Triple V is a nonprofit that offers free support to high school and undergraduate students ages 14-24. Our mission is to equip young leaders with resources, clarity, and confidence to achieve their goals and create positive change. The Fellowship is our umbrella program, built on three core pillars:
Scholarship – financial support, mentorship – peer & professional guidance, internship – career opportunities.
The Fellowship is designed to meet students’ key needs and help them succeed academically, professionally, and personally.
We are looking for a volunteer ages 18-24 that is passionate about our mission and is passionate about student success.
Hours & DaysPreferably 3-6 hours per week, 1-2 times a week based on student's availability
General ResponsibilitiesThe Triple V Volunteer will support day-to-day program operations, with a primary focus on the scholarship interview process (during scholarship season) and student engagement efforts. Training and a volunteer orientation will be provided.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to Event Assistance- Support event planning and logistics
- Assist with community outreach to schools, colleges, and partner organizations
- Create outreach lists and track engagement
- Participate in pop up interviews
- Facilitate or co-facilitate educational workshops
- Serve as a peer mentor for younger students
- Create blog content for the Triple V website
- Respond to messaged on Hubspot
- Research and compile scholarship and internship opportunities and deadlines
- Create or update student resource guide
- Attend tabling events to share Triple V's resources and programs
- Demonstrated commitment to student success and alignment with Triple V’s mission
- Must be between the ages 18-24
- Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work both independently and commitment to working as part of a team
- Cultural awareness and experience in working with diverse populations, including communities of color, immigrants, LGBTQIA+ communities, and persons of various ages, socioeconomic backgrounds, health status, and abilities
- Computer proficiency
- Punctual, reliable and detailed oriented
- Develop interviewing and evaluation skills
Gain exposure to services and programs offered by local nonprofit organizations - Strengthen public speaking, communication, and facilitation skills
- Build professional networks within the nonprofit and education sectors
- Experience working with Lark, Canva, Hubspot
- Ideal for individuals pursuing careers in nonprofit management, education, student services, or community engagement
