Job SummaryThe Regional Marketing Manager will develop, execute, and monitor local marketing strategies across the US region with a focus on local event strategies to optimize marketing event activities and raise company awareness, managing offline events throughout the entire life cycle. The manager must understand our products and services, work with stakeholders, and represent ACROBiosystems professionally while positively shaping the company’s identity, profile, and visibility within the life science community.
This position also requires occasional night and/or weekend work for on‑site events and internal team support.
- Develop local marketing plans to optimize marketing event ROI and raise company awareness.
- Build offline and online event strategies to optimize marketing event activation and raise company awareness.
- Develop localized promotional materials and campaigns tailored to regional regulations and cultural nuances with the internal team.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team on social media promotion, webinars, and newsletter optimization; track and analyze results to enhance engagement with local customers and optimize local strategies.
- Coordinate related logistics for trade shows/events; connect with vendors and carriers to ensure events run smoothly.
- Create detailed reports and engaging presentations to communicate findings and insights to internal stakeholders, synthesizing complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Conduct thorough research about customer behavior and preferences, including interviews, surveys, and focus groups, to analyze data that can enhance marketing initiatives.
- Continuously monitor competitor activities and performance metrics to assess market positioning and identify competitive advantages.
- Supervise and mentor the offline event marketing team and foster a collaborative environment.
- Manage distributors, collaborators, and partners in the US.
- Travel up to 30‑40% depending on offline event frequency.
– Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in life science or related discipline required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors.
– Education and Experience
- Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of B2B or B2C marketing experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese preferred.
- Passionate about the life sciences and pharmaceutical industry and aligned with company values.
- Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in marketing solutions and applications such as Salesforce, Adobe, Canva, Constant Contact, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership, stress resistance, with an innovation mindset.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to develop strategic vision and execute resulting plans.
- Multi‑tasking and time‑management skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Project management experience with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders globally.
- Willingness to travel to marketing events and activities across the US.
$90,000-$120,000 base salary + bonus DOE.
LocationSan Diego, CA or San Jose, CA (Hybrid).
