Position Summary

AEMI is looking to add a Process Operator to join the HRB team. The Process Operator will be responsible for performing visual inspection, dimensional and electrical measurements, reliability testing, and special testing based on customer requirements. The Process Operator will be responsible to adhering to all procedures, documentation, quality management standards, and environmental, health, and safety requirements. The Process Operator is a key contributor to ensuring adherence to internal and customer specifications.

The Process Operator will work with the Product Line Manager, Process Engineer, and Process Operators and Technicians to ensure that the component manufacturing is completed in a timely fashion according to the required manufacturing schedule and that all company and customer requirements for quality and reliability are met or exceeded.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work as a member of a multi-person team and exhibit the ability to follow instructions, observe process outputs, and communicate observations or concerns to supervisors
  • Perform required tasks per documented manufacturing procedures related to electronic passive components including, but not limited to, visual inspection, dimensional verification, electronic property verification, reliability testing, and destructive physical analysis
  • Conduct special testing requirements based on customer requirements
  • Perform monthly inventory of work in progress and finished goods and update spreadsheets
  • Ability to operate machinery safely and in accordance with the documented process procedures
  • Accurately maintain records and document process observations as part of continuous improvement and design of experiments
  • Use programs to collect and evaluate manufacturing processes to make in-process adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school (GED equivalent)
  • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience
  • Ability to use a microscope, measuring devices, and other electronic instruments
  • Ability to use a computer with the MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work safely with chemicals and perform the physical requirements of the job throughout the factory
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to all pre-established guidelines for product safety, awareness, and quality management
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions
  • US Citizen or Permanent resident (Green Card Holder)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience
