Role
In this role you will be part of a team that maintains the calibration program on-site at a key customer s facility in the San Diego/La Jolla, CA area. The customer is a leading biomedical company.
- Assist in equipment recall for customer equipment past due and coming due
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all calibration activities
- Maintain all calibration program related documentation to meet customer and company requirements
- Ensure all calibration activities meet customer and company traceability requirements
- Prioritize workload to meet customer process needs
- Complete periodic maintenance requirements
- Maintain statuses of all activities to the customer
- Support customer audits as they relate to the calibration program
Requirements
As a Calibration Technician Level 2 (Resident Professional) you must possess:
- Military training or commercial calibrations experience (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience calibrating test & measurement equipment (in a commercial or military calibration lab preferred)
- Mechanical Calibration experience required
- Very good organizational skills, meticulous with details
- Strong communication skills including written, verbal and listening skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Internet research, data entry, etc.
- Experience interacting with customers in a courteous and professional manner and providing an excellent customer experience

Compensation is a reasonable estimate and will be determined using the hiring range listed below and factors including, but not limited to, skillset, level of experience, education, and physical work location, to the extent consistent with applicable law.
