Electro-Mechanical Assembler

About this position

See Scan is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our cable line.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Compensation

This position pays $20/hour or more, depending on qualifications.

We are looking for a long-term, in-house team member to join us, not a contractor or consultant.

In this position, you will

* Perform a variety of repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies

* Assemble electronic and mechanical components using manual and semi-automated tools, including: torque drivers, torque wrenches, hammers, adhesive dispensers, and screwdrivers

* Work within a team to assemble smaller components as part of a larger assembly

* Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions

* Perform in-process quality checks on assembly

* Perform rework and repairs as needed

* Perform other related duties as assigned, including maintenance of work area and equipment

Background and experience

* Experience assembling electronic, structural, and mechanical subassemblies in a manufacturing environment

* Familiarity with basic hand tools (manual and powered)

* Knowledge of QA protocols for assembly workers

* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Able to read a Bill of Materials and identify required parts

About you

* Able to lift and move up to 25 lbs regularly, 50 lbs occasionally

* Comfortable working in an industrial/warehouse environment with background noise, safety process requirements, and dynamic communication
