Computer Numerical Control Programmer

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs to produce precision components according to customer specifications. You will work closely with machinists and operators to improve efficiency, tooling, and overall production processes while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Feature
  
  CAM, AutoCAD).
• Analyze drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machining methods and sequences.
• Create clear instructions for machinists and support operators during production.
• Select appropriate cutting tools and determine machining parameters.
• Test and verify programs through simulations or trial runs.
• Collaborate with machinists to improve procedures, productivity, and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required;
  Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• 8–10 years of CNC programming experience.
• Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software and CNC programming principles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent math, computer, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Prolonged computer use and repetitive keyboard/mouse activity.
