Job Description:

Assemble hardware of SCNC products using crimping tools, torque drivers, soldering iron, hotplate and work under Microscope. Position requires the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with focus on quality and attention to detail.

Essential Functions:

* Ability to read assembly drawings, BOM, wire list, engineering change orders, rework instructions, and process control instructions

* Fully proficient individual contributor. Works under limited supervision. May be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise. Assignments are moderately difficult requiring some judgment.

* Mechanical assembly using crimping tool, hot plate and torque drivers.

* Able to lift minimum of 35 lbs.

* Able to work on ladder, crane and scaffolding.

* Able to work under Microscope.

* Basic hand soldering of SMT, through-hole, and wiring.

* Good communication skills, both oral and written.

* High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.

* Plan and execute work schedules in conjunction with hardware schedule requirements

* Responsible for the manufacturing of all hardware on one or more product lines.

* Preference will be given to candidates who are certified in J-STD-001 Class 3

Qualifications:

* Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimium of 2 years of prior related experience.

* Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance

Skills:

* 4 years of mechanical assembly. Familiar with wiring, harness assembly, and coax cable assembly.

* Ability to read documentation, drawings, and process control instructions.
* Basic soldering skills.
* Familiarity with basic computer skill (Windows/excel)
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $22.83/hr- $42.54/hr this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3
