Position Overview

A manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations in a regulated production environment. This role is responsible for driving equipment reliability, preventive maintenance execution, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. The Maintenance Manager partners closely with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to support consistent production performance.

• Lead and oversee all maintenance activities supporting production, utilities, and facility systems
• Manage mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and automation-related maintenance functions
• Develop, execute, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Oversee and administer a CMMS
  , including work orders, PM schedules, parts inventory, and reporting
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production to minimize downtime and support operational priorities
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and performance management for maintenance staff across shifts
• Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and installation of new production assets
• Develop maintenance procedures, SOPs, and safety protocols to support consistent execution
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and reliability metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, quality, and environmental regulations
• Manage vendor relationships, contractors, and maintenance-related budgets

• Proven experience leading maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment
• Background supporting production equipment, utilities, and facility systems
• Experience with CMMS-driven maintenance programs
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Exposure to industrial refrigeration systems (ammonia experience preferred but not required)
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, production-driven setting
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (food, beverage, or similar)
• Familiarity with GMP, safety, and quality systems
• Experience supporting multi-shift operations
• Capital project and shutdown maintenance experience
