GALT Aerospace is seeking a full‑time salaried Production/Material Planner to create and optimize the flow of materials supporting production schedules and meeting customer demand. The planner will use GALT’s ERP/MRP system to forecast needs, manage inventory levels, coordinate with internal and external suppliers, and ensure efficient production. Responsibilities include supplier collaboration, cross‑functional communication, financial reporting support, material analysis, and risk identification and mitigation.

The role demands strong time‑management, teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

• 3+ years of supply‑chain experience as a planner, preferably in the aerospace defense industry.
• Implement material strategies and ensure material requirements are met for production.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, inventory shortages, or other material challenges.
• Collaborate with program management, engineering, and operations to develop, implement, execute, and improve processes to minimize and manage material risk.
• High skill level with ERP/MRP systems and large data sets.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills including MS‑Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
• Accuracy in record‑keeping, order processing, and shipment tracking.
• Position requires access to technology, materials, software, or hardware controlled by U.S. export laws. Candidates must be a “U.S. Person” under U.S. export laws or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience with CostPoint ERP/MRP system.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• Team player with a proactive attitude in a dynamic environment.
• Strong critical and analytical thinking abilities.
• Initiative, multitasking, and effective work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS/ITAR or experience supporting a government contractor environment.
• Eligible for a DOD security clearance.

• Must be able to sit or stand for 1 hour at a time.
• Must be able to operate a computer.

Base pay range: $90,000 – $110,000 per year. The specific base pay will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
