Our client, a leader in financial tax software
, is looking to hire an M&A Project Manager. This role is hybrid 3x per week in San Diego, CA.
* This is a 6-month contract with benefits & paid holidays!*
As an M&A Project Manager
, you will lead complex, M&A, systems integration, and improvement projects across all phases of planning, implementation and migration, driving improvements for global procurement, finance, and Business Operations.
- Own project work streams, creating a source of truth for all operational initiatives, including detailed project plans, RAID logs, and resource trackers
- Act as the central point of contact between Finance, Tech, and Procurement
, facilitating project meetings, capturing key decisions, and ensuring rigorous follow-through on all action items - Produce concise decks and communication assets
, distilling complex project data into clean, visual narratives for leadership - Maintain real-time visibility into project health using Smartsheet
, providing data-driven insights and status updates that enable leadership in quick decision-making
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years of experience in Project Management, driving operational improvements across matrixed organizations
- Demonstrated success in M&A project management & delivery
- Advanced knowledge of Smartsheet for project management & metrics visibility
- Experience of finance & procurement systems including Coupa, Oracle, Aravo, & Concur
- Working experience in Fin Tech, tech, or SaaS industries
