The full pay range for this role is $154,800 - $258,100 annually. We generally base our salary decisions on factors including but not limited to, relevant work and leadership experience, education, demonstrated performance, internal equity, and in some cases, geographic location.
Scope of JobThe Director of DT Planning & Delivery leads the project management office and financial operations functions. This role establishes the foundational processes that connect DT investments to business outcomes—from initial request through value realization—while driving cost optimization and operational excellence across the department. The Director leads a team of project managers, business and financial analysts, and operations specialists. This high‑visibility position partners closely with business stakeholders and DT leadership to ensure investment in the right initiatives and delivering them effectively.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Builds, develops, deploys, and guides a high‑performing team across PMO, financial operations, and vendor management disciplines
- Serves as a trusted advisor to DT leadership on investment decisions and resource allocation
- Partners with business stakeholders to understand their needs and communicate DT's capacity and delivery commitments
- Cost Optimization
- Leads ongoing efforts to optimize DT spending and improve operational efficiencies.
- Identifies cost opportunities across vendors, contracts, infrastructure, and operations, and drives initiatives to capture that value.
- Establishes analytical capabilities to benchmark costs and measure optimization progress over time.
- DT Project Management Office
- Stands‑up and matures the DT PMO function, establishing consistent processes for how work enters DT, gets prioritized, resourced, and delivered.
- Defines intake and demand management processes that give leadership clear visibility into the pipeline and enables informed trade‑off decisions.
- Implements portfolio management practices that balance capacity with demand while ensuring alignment to strategic priorities.
- Establishes delivery frameworks appropriate to different work types—whether traditional project management, agile delivery, or hybrid approaches—and creates the governance rhythms that keep initiatives on track.
- Builds the value realization discipline, reporting realized ROI and tracks and evaluates whether investments actually deliver expected benefits and results.
