About the RoleThe VP/Director of Finance will lead day-to-day accounting operations and cash management while delivering decision-ready financial insights through budgeting, forecasting, and division-level reporting. This role manages the accounting team, oversees accounting for internal entities, and provides accounting services to franchisees. A strong, hands‑on FP&A skillset is required—this role will personally build and deliver analysis and reporting used for proactive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop the accounting team, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent execution across all entities
- Oversee monthly close, account reconciliations, and preparation of monthly financial statements
- Own cash flow management, including weekly cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital visibility
- Oversee accounts payable processes, vendor management, and payment approvals
- Oversee accounts receivable and collections management to improve cash conversion
- Ensure strong internal controls, GAAP compliance, and consistent accounting policies and procedures
- Oversee accounting services provided to franchisees, improving standardization, reporting packages, and service levels
- Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning across divisions
- Produce division‑level reporting and KPI dashboards for restaurants, franchise, construction, and manufacturing
- Deliver variance analysis and insights with clear recommendations to leadership for proactive decision-making
- Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Construction, and Production to support performance and profitability
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including multi‑entity operations
- 2+ years of people management experience (direct team leadership)
- Strong FP&A background with advanced modeling, forecasting, and management reporting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP, close processes, and internal controls
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI/reporting tools strongly preferred
- Experience in restaurant, franchise, construction, and/or manufacturing environments preferred
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional partners

- Lead both financial operations and strategic reporting across multiple industries
- Work directly with the CFO and leadership team to shape financial infrastructure and performance
