Project Manager Assistant

Overview

Sherwood Mechanical Inc. (SMI) is looking for a strong Team Leader who can motivate, train, and lead project teams to success. The role includes coaching and leading staff to excel at providing excellent service to customers and consistently exceed department and individual goals. SMI is an ESOP company with growth opportunities and the potential to become an owner. SMI provides ongoing training and professional development.

• SMI Manager to manage project operations and staff, including setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, coaching, mentoring, and training staff.
• SMI Manager to oversee daily operations to ensure proper procedures and guidelines are in place to effectively manage the project team members and to ensure the team objectives are met.
• SMI Manager to provide exemplary customer service, including maintaining customer relationships and ensuring repeat customers by coaching your team to take care of any and all customer needs, concerns or complaints quickly and professionally.
• SMI Manager develops working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and codes to ensure that all projects adhere to all rules.

• SMI Manager must have 5 years of Management and Plumbing experience with a clean valid driver’s license.
• SMI Manager must be detail oriented, very organized, has experience in coaching, training, computer technology, typing, Microsoft products, honest, dependable, fluent at reading plans, specs, submittals and construction docs.
• Able to do material take offs, estimate small projects, generate RFI's and issue Change Orders.
