Brand Activation Manager

Summary

The Brand Activation Manager is a fast‑paced position responsible for staffing, training, and motivating part‑time Adult Beverage Brand Ambassadors to drive activation results through one‑to‑one consumer engagement occasions in an assigned market. The role handles hiring, training, performance management, reporting, and client relationship building to achieve program goals.

Job will remain open until filled.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and manage the Brand Ambassador team, ensuring proper equipment and materials for sampling events.
  • Execute weekly events and maintain performance metrics, conduct performance reviews, and provide career advancement support.
  • Develop and deliver training, manage scheduling, and approve team events, recaps, and payroll systems.
  • Manage relationships with key wholesaler/client field management teams, maintaining a high‑profile presence in accounts.
  • Use reports and presentations to highlight success, improvement areas, competitive intelligence, and market initiatives.
  • Collaborate with agency operations on report development, event execution, financial control, and coverage model execution.
  • Conduct weekly conference calls with local managers to communicate program updates and strategic priorities.
  • Manage budget for the assigned geographic area to maximize revenue, profit, and safety compliance.
  • Oversee direct reports: hire, retain, train, coach, guide, and develop using company processes.
  • Oversee indirect reports: delegate work and provide guidance, direction, and mentoring.
  • Travel up to 50% and meet driving requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 2–4 years of experience in the alcohol, beverage, or CPG industry.
  • Experience recruiting, interviewing, and training Brand Ambassadors and creating weekly schedules.
  • Proven success in executing and evaluating sampling programs.
  • Strong team‑player, collaborative, and results‑driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable to ambiguity, and open to change.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience managing budgets and financial controls in a field operations role.
