Engineering Lead, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic, HVAC Tech ​/ Heating Engineer

Summary

An Engineering Lead will be responsible for shift coverage and providing day-to-day technical leadership. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills in all areas of maintenance throughout the property, including guest rooms, meeting space, front-of-house areas, and back-of-house areas such as kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. The Engineering Lead must be proficient in the use of Windows-based computer systems for work order management and documentation.

The ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics is required. A minimum of five (5) years of building maintenance experience is required, with hotel or hospitality experience preferred. A strong working knowledge of all major building systems, including life-safety systems, is required for this position. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all departments.

Additionally, the Engineering Lead is expected to demonstrate leadership by supporting team members, prioritizing work as needed during assigned shifts, and assisting with the coordination of maintenance activities. Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required based on the operational needs of the business.

The hourly rate for this position is $32.06
