Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Overview
Applications are currently being accepted for Vehicle Mechanic I in the Equipment Repair Department, located at District Service Center. Hours are Monday – Friday 6:30AM – 3:00PM. Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department’s needs.

Responsibilities- Perform maintenance, repair, and related activities for vehicles and equipment in the Equipment Repair Department.
- Be available for potential transfer to different sites as needed by the Chancellor’s option.

- Have fingerprints taken by a Live Scan (district expense) with clearance prior to first day of employment.

- Attend a new hire processing appointment in People, Culture, and Technology Services located at the District Administrative Offices.
Range 31 ($5,641.78 – $9,005.57) per month based on the current Classified salary schedule. New employees begin on Step A or Step B with related experience, and may progress to Step C with additional experience. This position is FLSA Non-exempt (may accrue overtime). Excellent benefits are provided to eligible employees with assignments greater than or equal to 50% FTE.
