We have a great opportunity for a Mechanical Calibration Technician (Resident Professional) to join our team in the San Diego/La Jolla, CA area. The customer is a leading Biomedical company.

Role

In this role, you will be part of a team that maintains the calibration program on-site at a key customer's facility:

  • Assist in equipment recall for customer equipment past due and upcoming
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all calibration activities
  • Maintain all calibration program-related documentation to meet customer and Trescal requirements
  • Ensure all calibration activities meet customer and Trescal traceability requirements
  • Prioritize workload to meet customer process needs
  • Complete periodic maintenance requirements
  • Maintain statuses of all activities to customer
  • Support customer audits related to the calibration program
Requirements
  • Military training or commercial calibrations experience (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience calibrating test & measurement equipment (preferred in a commercial or military calibration lab)
  • Mechanical Calibration experience required
  • Excellent organizational skills, meticulous with details
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Internet research, data entry, etc.
  • Experience interacting with customers professionally and courteously
