We are a boutique real estate development and property management firm seeking a reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to support ongoing maintenance needs across our growing property portfolio. This role will be responsible for day-to-day repairs, preventative maintenance, resident service requests, and ensuring our buildings are well maintained, safe, and operating efficiently. You will work closely with ownership and the property management team to address maintenance issues, complete improvement projects, support unit turnovers, and help maintain the overall quality of the portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to tenant maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform general property repairs including:
    • Basic electrical work (switches, outlets, lighting)
    • Carpentry and drywall repair
    • Painting and patch work
  • Assist with unit turnover work including repairs, punch lists, and small upgrades.
  • Support preventative maintenance across all properties.
  • Handle basic exterior and common area upkeep as needed.
  • Coordinate with specialty vendors when advanced trades are required.
  • Maintain organized records of completed work and communicate updates to the team.
  • Help ensure resident satisfaction with responsive, high quality service.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of general residential maintenance trades.
  • Ability to diagnose issues and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically active work.
  • Strong communication skills and professional tenant-facing presence.
  • Dependable, proactive, and detail oriented.
Preferred Experience
  • Residential or multifamily maintenance background.
  • Experience working with property management systems.
  • Comfort working independently across multiple properties.
Compensation
  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
