Maintenance Specialist 2 (FR3284)

The Maintenance Specialist 2 acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks. They perform a range of maintenance duties in the building and plant. They support the facility team on projects to include but not limited to, mechanical, hydraulic, electric, and electronic devices. These assignments are performed under close supervision of the facility's supervisor/manager and normally follow established procedures on routine work and requires instructions only on new assignments.

The Maintenance Specialist 2 works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. They may work with outside vendors and will be closely involved in P5S activities. (Tasks listed are intended to be descriptive and not restrictive. An employee in this position may perform any of the tasks listed; however, these examples do not include all the tasks which an employee may be expected to perform.)

Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

This position generally works standard business hours; however, additional hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required  overtime will be paid in compliance with applicable California wage and hour laws.
