Rehab Technician

Bridge Property Management is looking for a dedicated Rehab Technician to help maintain and improve our community. From HVAC systems to general repairs, you will create a comfortable and well‑kept living space for our residents and work with a supportive team and management to provide top‑quality service.

What You Will Do
  • Act as a go‑to fix‑it expert – complete maintenance requests quickly and efficiently, handling tasks such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting.
  • Maintain, repair, and replace HVAC systems to keep residents comfortable year‑round.
  • Fix showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and building exteriors.
  • Schedule and execute preventive maintenance to avoid future issues.
  • Perform minor pool maintenance and oversee safety procedures.
  • Monitor external contractors to ensure quality work.
  • Assist with light landscaping, trash pickup, and sidewalk cleaning to maintain community curb appeal.
  • Prepare units for new residents by completing necessary repairs.
  • Report safety concerns immediately and follow all safety regulations.
  • Support special projects and additional maintenance tasks as needed.
What You Bring To The Team
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry, and carpentry.
  • Experience with HVAC maintenance.
  • Effective communication skills – interact professionally with residents, coworkers, and management.
  • Reliability and flexibility – available for emergency repairs and able to work weekends and evenings if required.
  • Physical ability – climb up to 40 feet, lift heavy items, distinguish colors, and hear safety alarms.
  • Collaborative attitude – work well with others and contribute to a positive environment.
Qualifications
  • Prior maintenance experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience in facility maintenance.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Location & Salary

San Diego, CA – $2,174.00–$2,241.00 per month (Full‑time).
