Maintenance Custodian Associate

Overview

Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club is responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept environment, including parking lots, restrooms, and floors. The role requires staying on your feet and being on the go, with a positive attitude to provide a great member experience from start to finish.

Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards and guidelines, including conducting safety checks, proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company standards, and reporting unsafe situations. Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment. Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.

Maintains appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotates and stores chemicals properly, and places orders to replenish supplies when low.
